A LETTER TO THE UNIVERSE
A LETTER TO THE UNIVERSE
Dear universe,
A free man at the start of a long journey,
His conclusion is uncertain
He hopes he can find riches
Make them his friends, shake their hands
Or maybe make ammends
He hopes his forefathers are watching closely.
Hasn't he chosen to carry and cherish their names?
Fly across the Oceans to confirm that they are indeed blue
Never going home without a difference,If he dies, let him perish
Hope must probably be a good thing
Or maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies
He hopes the universe will keep an eye on him
Whatever weather,cold or warm
Breathe after breathe he kills the pace
He is in a competition with his past
It's a shitty race.
Toiling and pushing,he asks for grace
Special regards,
Lonely Traveller.
