A LETTER TO NERDS

Image
A LETTER TO NERDS AND WEIRDOS  Hi nerds!Do you copy? Its been a while,I hope you still run the world. There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of stranger things;new mysteries, new adventures and new unexpected heroes. I hope yall remember the scars of loving and living.Where we come from, we're just lucky to be in the 20th century .Thin line between hell(if it really exists) and here. Life is a beautiful game and still,it's not fair. Y'all break the rules and act like you don't care. Fellow nerds,a people must know their origin and practice their traditions in order to be themselves. If not, they loose themselves in another's vision of reality and if that reality is the creation of their enemy, then they fall deeply asleep in someone else's nightmare. We've always written letters about what our time together were.I don't intend to be stuck 'cause being stuck sucks.Working with you again is given. So until next time,I want you...

Dear universe

Image
Dear universe, contentment is the mother of mediocrity. The game is rigged, but whoever says you can't loose if you don't play doesn't consider winning as an option. I'm out to catch my slices with niceness. If I must chew, make it soft.If I must toil for it,make it short. For in this world you made, man must eat!

THE BEAUTY STIKEN CABRONS

Image
I  wonder who picks who? Did the books we read choose us? Or did we choose the books we read because of who we already are? The year is 2020. Covid is showing Ochi and I dust. We are vibing about how rich we will be in future. Hope is a good thing for sure, probably the best thing. 5 minutes into the conversation,a knock sounds on our neighbor's door. There is no privacy in Eastlands. We live like siblings in this apartment. Our neighbor's ex has come for 'her clothes' and in her words, "I'm not leaving, it's curfew time, and it's too late to get home." 'Who knew evil girls have the prettiest face?'  I peeped through the window and saw him pushing this beautiful chick. Not gender-based violence in my presence. I was forced to mind their business. She wanted him to produce the clothes she had left but couldn't see anymore. I asked to help her look so she could leave but she wanted no help from anyone, leave alone a neighbor. She wanted ...

A LETTER TO THE UNIVERSE

Image
A LETTER TO THE UNIVERSE Dear universe, A free man at the start of a long journey, His conclusion is uncertain He hopes he can find riches Make them his friends, shake their hands Or maybe make ammends He hopes his forefathers are watching closely. Hasn't he chosen to carry and cherish their names? Fly across the Oceans to confirm that they are indeed blue Never going home without a difference,If he dies, let him perish  Hope must probably be a good thing Or maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies He hopes the universe will keep an eye on him Whatever weather, cold or warm Breathe after breathe he kills the pace He is in a competition with his past It's a shitty race. Toiling and pushing,he asks for grace Special regards, Lonely Traveller.

NOVEL AND NO-VEIL

Image
"Whhhrrrl!" the cold nights of June whistled across my window. It had been a dead year to me: no skirts had ever graced my house that far. Just when my tiredness started feeling tired, an idea came through my mind to hook up one of my amazing friends. The list was long but I decided to trim it. "Scilla!" I screamed my lungs out. She had been such a darling who paid close attention to my faint screams. She was a must have and seeing how she constantly wrote her name with "Miss" as a prefix, she was surely a catch. A date was set for us to meet. On the set day, I worked on my cologne hoping to impress her from a hug with some "hug me the longest" smell. These were some of the shenanigans these streets taught me. All was going fine and I finally landed on Scilla's door around 6:37pm, hoping for a long night of novel reading and *No-veil* reading. As calculated, she welcomed me with a long hearty hug. Good! She was going by my gameplan. She lit...
