There is no doubt that the Kenyan film industry is steadily rising and is probably the next big thing. Here are some of the best movies set and produced in Kenya 1. NAIROBI HALF-LIFE Nairobi Half-Life was released in October 2012. It made an entry for the best foreign-language Oscar at the 85th Academy Awards but did not make it to the final shortlist.   "Whhhrrrl!" the cold nights of June whistled across my window. It had been a dead year to me: no skirts had ever graced my house that far.
